CPR training now comes with your Reformed IT package. — Reformed ITRob and Ruby Jones of The Idiopath

When people ask what makes Reformed IT different, we usually give one of two answers. We have an all-inclusive package that covers everything a business needs to stay secure, for one monthly price. And we keep a ratio of five clients to every technician, so you get a more dedicated service than you’d expect.

Now there’s a third, and it has nothing to do with IT.

What’s new.

We’ve partnered with The Idiopath to include CPR training in your Reformed IT package. It’s available to every client, with one session per client, as long as your office is in the East Midlands. The training is run by The Idiopath, not by us.

Why CPR?

CPR has nothing to do with IT, and we’re comfortable with that. We want to make a difference in our local communities.

Rob and Ruby Jones of The Idiopath came to our office to run CPR training for our team, and we felt more people should know how to potentially save a life. Joe remembers watching Christian Eriksen collapse on the pitch at the Euros in 2021, and the prompt medical attention and CPR he received. It made him think that if more people knew what to do, anyone in the same situation, at home or in public, would have a better chance of survival.

So now, when someone asks what makes Reformed IT unique, we can say that we’re playing our part to help save lives. And we’re good at IT too.

Managed IT services that help to save lives: Reformed IT and The Idiopath

Who is The Idiopath?

The Idiopath is a CPR and resilience training company based in Nottinghamshire. By its own account, it grew out of Rob’s experience of surviving a sudden cardiac arrest in 2024, when his wife Ruby, who knew CPR, was able to help him (The Idiopath).

They run hands-on CPR sessions for individuals and groups, resilience workshops and team sessions for workplaces, from lunchtime tasters to full-day programmes. The Idiopath’s own site says it has trained 1,134 people in CPR so far.

You can find out more about what they do on The Idiopath’s website.

How to get your session.

If you’re a Reformed IT client with an office in the East Midlands, your session is part of your package. Get in touch and we’ll help you arrange it.

Every figure and claim above links to where it came from. The partnership details are ours.
